LISTEN UP! Boy & Bear ‘Southern Sun’

made static boy and bear

Sydney based Boy & Bear have just released the first single off their forthcoming album Harlequin Dream, ‘Southern Sun.’ And if this is our first taste for what is to come, well then we are in for come pretty spectacular sounds.

Chipping away at the new album ‘Harlequin Dream’ since October 2012, the tracks were recorded at Sydney’s fabled Alberts studio and were co-produced by Boy & Bear and Wayne Connolly (who’s won ARIAs for his work with Josh Pyke and Youth Group, etc).  The album was then mixed by Phil Ek in Seattle, who’s made magic with Band of Horses and Fleet Foxes.

‘Southern Sun’ is out now, so check out the video below. And for all those heading to Splendour In The Grass later in the year, you better start learning this song, cause you will no doubt be hearing it.
