Jake Meadows Live @ SPICE CELLAR 16 May
Head to SPICE CELLAR, at Basement Level, 58 Elizabeth Street, this Thursday night the 16th of May for a cocktails, dancing and the semi-accousic crooning of JAKE MEADOWS.
There is so much that can be said about Jake Meadows, but he is best described as an eclectic young muso performing live with his magnificent harp. Not only is he a master musician but his passion and delivery of his art is second to none. This you can experience first-hand every time he performs his music. Jake’s musical arrangements and unique interpretations of some of music’s most famous and alternative songs, allows his guests to relax and enjoy the type of atmosphere that can only be created by this unique and visually spectacular instrument.
Each Thursday from 7pm, acoustic & semi-acoustic music spanning various styles of lounge music ranging from funk & jazz to downtempo & soul will be featured at the Spice Cellar. What starts as a live music performance often evolves into a late night jam session with musicians joining in the fun later in the evening. Some of the artists who have jammed at the Spice Cellar include Phil Stack, Ilan Kidron, Oliver Koletzki & Fran, Steve Clisby and Rai Thistlewaite.
Inspired by tapas eateries in Barcelona, cocktail bars in Amsterdam and nightclubs in Berlin, the Spice dwellers (couple, Rebecca Alder and Murat Kilic) wanted to offer a venue in central Sydney that caters for late night dining and entertainment, without sacrificing the quality of the food, drink or music.
It is the perfect destination for after work drinks, with a 2 for 1 on cocktails from 5-7pm weekdays. For those who enjoy the Spanish philosophy “Eat when you drink, drink when you eat”, the Spice kitchen is open until midnight, serving up tasty tapas made from the freshest ingredients, with veg and gluten-free options for each dish available.
